F10 AXLES - MULLET CONFIGURATION
F10 Front Straight axle utilizes the VPS08331 Underdrive gear set (8/33) paired with the F10 Portal Rear axle and a VPS08332 Overdrive gearset (8/32) plus Overdrive portal gears. The F10 Portal Rear axle has a flipped third member to correct the portal rotation. Combined with a Lightweight 21% gearset in the VFD transmision the overall overdrive is 34%. We recommend 475 SLW Hubs in the front and 350 in the rear to accommodate the differing axle widths.
Stance Half Cab
The included Stance Half Cab body comes in clear polycarbonate and includes window masks and decal sheet to fully customize the look of your Mullet build. Decide your own personal style.
Drivetrain
The VRD Mullet Kit includes the Vanquish Products VFD transmission with a F10 Straight front axle and a F10 Portal rear axle. The combination of the F10 Portal and Straight axles delivers a unique experience which blends the low COG of a straight axle with the added clearance of the portal. Aim the front axle exactly where you need it while knowing the added clearance in the back won't stop your progress. The Carbon Spec VFD gives you an upgraded building experience with machined motor motorplate, standoffs and light weight gears.

Over/Under Gears
Optimizing the gear ratios in the VRD Mullet includes the use of 8/27 rear axle gears and 8/33 front axle gears. Achieving a final overdrive of 34%

LOW CENTER OF GRAVITY
Low mounted electronics and battery paired with a forward bias motor position enables you to optimize your build for top performance.
VRD S25 Chassis
Updated geometry to perfectly balance the mix of different axle types used on the VRD Mullet. Shortened rear chassis length improves departure angle but leaves room to customize your own build behind the included Stance Half Cab body.

VFD Transmission
The VFD is designed for optimal performance, scale appearance, strength, and versatile accessories. It positions the motor forward and low for ideal weight distribution. The VFD Carbon Spec transmission offers 21% overdrive for improved turning and climbing without stressing electronics. The T-case features aluminum bearing plates for increased strength. Compatible with 540 brushed and brushless motors*.
Strength and Tunability
The VFD transmission has all machined gears inside for strength in the areas that count. The VFD transmission provides the opportunity to chose a variety of option parts for you to tune the performance to your needs.
Suspension
The VRD utilizes Incision 90mm S8E shocks with 8mm bore aluminum threaded bodies, dual O-ring seals, adjustable preload collars, keyed spring cups, and polished steel shock shafts. The front 4-link with suspension with servo-on-axle prioritizes steering effectiveness. Stainless steel links ensure low weight and durability.
